This is another post for convenience, after receiving hundreds of emails requesting the petition for adding VOTER ID to the ballots. I’ve decided to make it available online for you.

Please download it and follow the instructions closely.

QUICK INSTRUCTIONS

  • Ensure each signature sheet is clearly labeled with the county name at the top before collecting signatures.
  • Collect signatures exclusively from voters in the labeled county for each sheet. For example, if the sheet is labeled “Washoe,” only signatures from Washoe voters can be added.
  • If collecting signatures in Carson City or any other county, label a new packet (the 6 pages) with that specific county name and add only signatures from that area.
  • Remember to write “District 2” at the top of each sheet as well, as this is the district represented by Congressman Amodei in the north. (If in the Southern Parts on NV add the appropriate district there)
  • Verify that each signer understands the district and county designations as they sign.

It’s important to note that all signatures across the 6 pages in the packet must come from registered voters. Whether they voted in the last election is irrelevant, but they must all reside in the same county and congressional district. For example, in Washoe County, Mark Amodei is our congressman, as well as for Carson City, but Carson City is not part of Washoe County. Therefore, you should have 6 pages of signatures from Washoe County voters only, and none from Carson City, and vice versa.

Signatures can be collected BY anyone aged 18 and above; they don’t need to be registered voters.

The individual collecting the signatures must certify, under penalty of perjury, that all submitted information is true and accurate. This means they cannot fill in the 6 pages with fictitious names and addresses, as has been done with our voter rolls by our County ROVs in the past .-)

The collection process must be conducted legitimately.

Additionally, the petitions must be notarized. For those in Washoe and Carson, please contact me directly at operationsunlight@protonmail.com, and I will assist you with notarization. I will cover the notary fees. For other counties, Dave Gibbs will be your contact after the petitions are notarized. His mailing address is:

David Gibbs

1003 Indian Hollow Ave

North Las Vegas, NV 89031

Now, without further ado, here is the petition and the guidelines for collecting signatures. Please download, print, and collect legitimate signatures.

If Dave receives enough signatures, the initiative for all Nevadans to show ID when voting will be placed on the ballot, giving us the opportunity to vote it into law.
