Good Afternoon,
I often get asked, “Who should I vote for?” At this point, the answer should be clear—vote for any Republican. As I’ve said many times before, they prune the patriots in the Primary and leave us with Coke and Pepsi in the General Elections. This is particularly true in several races across Washoe County.
That being said, we have to work with the cards we’ve been dealt, and the most important thing is that we must vote. Sitting this one out is not an option. So, make your voice heard—head down to the Registrar of Voters (ROV) office at 1001 E 9th Street with your pre-filled mail-in ballot and submit it directly.
If you’re unable to do so in person, either before or on election day, you can take your ballot to the Washoe County GOP headquarters, 3652 S Virginia St #C8, Reno, NV 89502, and they’ll handle it for you. Alternatively, you can entrust your ballot to someone you know to deliver it on your behalf. Only as a last resort should you use the USPS for mailing your ballot.
To guide your decisions, I’m attaching the voter guides from both the Washoe County GOP and the Reno Republican Women’s group. The only race not covered in these guides is the Verdi TV District, all the candidates are actually registered Republicans so your choice is easy. As for the Nevada Supreme Court races, many Republicans have opted for “None of the Candidates” because there simply isn’t a preferable choice.
Please make sure you vote and encourage at least four others to do the same. Urge them to multiply this effort by each getting four more people to vote. We need every legitimate ballot possible to counteract the concerning number of questionable ballots being processed.
Thank you, and let’s make sure our voices are heard.
Verdi TV District (Pick 3)
