Problem!

There is some crazy information going around telling people how to vote. 

They are telling people to use a blue pen and simply put a line through the bubble on the ballot and circle the candidate of their choice. 

This is lunacy.

READ DIRECTLY FROM THE SECRETARY OF STATES ELECTION MANUAL:

NOW ON PAGE 69, READ THIS:

DO YOU SEE AN ISSUE!?!??!?!??!?!?!?!

This lunacy that is being spread could cost you your vote!

At best, your ballot would be put for what’s called adjudication, where possibly just 1-2 people will determine who you intended to vote for!

This is insanity.

Please don’t listen or do what these people are saying when it comes to your vote.

I have no idea if they are purposely trying to cost you your vote or are too proud to admit they were wrong!

I have personally texted one person perpetuating this crap and told them the harm he’s causing, yet he continues to tell people to do this.

Jovan Hutton Pulitzer even called another person who was perpetuating this insanity and told them to stop as well.

I don’t know why they are telling us to vote this way, but for the love of your voice, DO NOT VOTE THAT WAY.

SOLUTION!

Here’s how you vote if you want the best chance at it, counting legitimately.

FOR WASHOE COUNTY:

On Election Day, fill out your mail-in ballot with a BLUE BALLPOINT PEN.

FILL IN THE BUBBLE COMPLETELY, DO NOT CIRCLE ANYONE’S NAME 

THEN take it to the ROV at 1001 East 9th Street.

Hand it to them, and make sure they SCAN it. Then, REVIEW THE SCREEN to verify that you have NOT already voted. If the system confirms you have NOT already voted, great, hand them the ballot.

If the system says you have already previously voted (and you are positive that you did NOT vote), call the sheriff. Make a police report. Someone has stolen your voter identity if the system says you already voted (when you have not).
